LaGuardia High School in New York is not like most schools. It's a famous school of music, art, and performing arts. Jennifer Aniston and Al Pacino are just two of LaGuardia's past students who became famous. So what's it like to go such a school?
Students at LaGuardia study Art, Music, Dance, and Theater, but they must also do all the normal school subjects such as English and Math. Classes startbat 8 am and end at 4 pm. There are up to 10 classes per day with a break of only 4 minutes between classes. Students have ay least three studio classes every day and six school subjects.
LaGuardia has rules just like every other scool. Students must show their ID cards to enter the building and must leave immediately after their last class of the day. They must dress well and must show respect to teachers and other students. Students must not use cell phone or pages in class or download music from the school computers. And of course, they must not smoke anywhere in the school.
Just like every other school, life at LaGuardia can be tough at times. The students know that they must work hard if they want to become stars of the future. That's the price of fame.
